I made these cabled mitts out of the Freedom Spirit I got at the The Knitting Experience groups’ holiday party yankee swap. (Actually I exchanged the color I originally got for, big shock, everyone, purple.) I have been thinking all week that this would be the night I finally finish the mitts because my hands have been freeaing. I have been wearing the fetchings I made last year which I made smaller than the pattern suggests because I had heard so many horror stories about people needing like an extra yard from another skein or so. Speaking of horror, check out my newest knitting tool:
This is what happens when a desperate knitting can’t find her scissors, never mind that I have another pari of scissors that I keep in my pen cup, and I eventually found my scissors in my pouch of knitting implements that is way to small for anyone but me not to find something in there, and that this is the longest run on sentence I have ever seen and if I were to read this in one of my students’ papers I would take points off.
