Madison, home of the badger!
 
 
Apparently the city of Madison, WI has badgers everywhere. From the T-shirts and signs for the university that are everywhere, to the badger at the zoo (above left) and ending with the badger’s place of honor at the state house. These are a very badger-centric people.
 
I saw many other animals at the zoo from a shy rinocerous
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
to some adorable praerie dogs with little babies
