Of course I have twelve million other things going at the moment, and what with all my free time this summer and the visits home the influx of new yarn has been great. I finished the first of the Pirate Mitts I was designing for Pat:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It’s hard to see, but the skull and crossbones looks all shaded cause I held two strands of yarn together instead of a full on fair isle thing, totally spookier. Pattern will be available somewhere at some point, will keep you posted on that... when I have time to figure that out... which apparently is never. The dreaded school starts soon which is a major cramp on the knitting time, though it does provide the funds for the yarn purchasing. That concept is difficult to remember mid August when I am still paid the same as I will be in mid September when I will barely have enough free time to take a deep breath. (sigh)
