I would never choose purple, no way. Its not like I don’t already have several socks that are mostly purple, a purple bag, purple crocks, and basically any other item ever sold in purple. But these socks not only have purple, but different shades of purple swirled together creating a merge of purply goodness. I like the color so much I even knit a basic sock pattern, I almost never knit basic patterns. I often look at a yarn and work out immediately which of the fancy patterns from 25 Favorite Socks (Interweave Press) it would be good as, but these are just a basic ribbed socks. That way no pattern could possibly interfere with the pure purple happiness. In case you hadn’t noticed I like this yarn. I may even make more than one pair in this color!
