Finally buttoned

I have been on a finishing streak lately. This so far has included finishing my cabled yoke, finishing my Louisa Harding Fair Isle vest:

Yes that is my mystery stole I am wearing as a scarf with it. (Also finished! In your face, Sara) I know you can’t see the awesome design as well when worn this way, but you definitely can’t see it from the back of my closet. I am not really a stole person so oversized scarf it is.
My streak has also included finishing a sock, and finally finishing my skirt of Knitting from Nature out of Malabrigo, which looks awesome! Though for whatever reason my hexagons came out way bigger than they were supposed to, despite me checking my gauge and everything. Fortunately I was able to compensate by simply by making fewer rows of hexagons than called for and installing an elastic waste band. That way the skirt should fit nicely no matter what loop on the weight roller coster I happen to be gliding through.
