Caving quickly to peer pressure as usual I have begun to rogue along with the crowd. Above you can see the steady growth of my RIP (rogue in progress). I am knitting along both in person and over the world wide interweb with the fine people at The Knitting Experience Cafe. Join us here. I am doing the original rogue with pocket and hood not cardigan. I using cascade sierra, which is 80% cotton and 10% wool. An excellent combination of soft and light with strong and durable.
The pictures you see above are courtesy of my digital camera which I finally connected to my new computer successfully. First the software that came with the camera refused to install, then iPhoto seemed not to work either. Finally the brilliant Jackie pointed out that it might help if I turned the camera on, details details. Silly technology and all its complicated requirements like me pushing the on button. Whatever. I finally came to grips with the fact that no matter how cool it is that my new computer can take a picture at any time and I can easily drag said picture into any application instantly, like so:
It is much easier to position a little camera from above the knitting for picture taking. *sigh*
