Feather weight lace
Did you know that malabrigo literally means “bad sweater” it is two words mal, bad, and abrigo, sweater. I can not think of a bigger irony. I have yet to see malabrigo turn into anything but gorgeous. I loooooooooooooove my new tank. It still needs to be blocked, but I couldn’t resist trying it on, and now I may never take it off, which will make blocking rather difficult...
In other news, I finished my felted bag, which is the chevron bag from Emilee Knits. This is also the designer of the Foliage hat that has recently appeared in knitty. I love this bag, it rocks. It holds all my stuff, and the slight felting allows the stitches to be visible while preventing my keys from poking through it. I added a button closure and some pockets on the inside, which are pretty much impossible to accurately photograph and truly communicate what is there. Basically I knit a rectangle and seamed it in.
